How to have a dropdown show a number as a number and not text in an Excel download?

I have a dropdown with single digits that download in Excel as a text number format instead of a true number. Can a dropdown be a number output?

In your Excel file, however, you can select the entire column that represents the dropdown field in your form to change its format.
