    Thanks for contacting us.

    You can edit the width of your form fields from the Form Builder by clicking over your field and then selecting the Width or Size option:

    You can also edit the width of the fields by inserting CSS codes to your form. You can learn how to insert CSS codes with the next guide: How to inject cstmo CSS codes

    If you don't have any knowledge in CSS, we can give you a hand to provide you the right CSS code to give the desired width to the fields. Just share with us the link of your form an example of the width you wish if possible.

    I hope this helps, please let us know if you need further assistance with this or kindly open a new thread to make unrelated questions.

    Thanks

    Hello kverneland,

    I am unable to see the image you have share. Here is a guide which should help you upload screenshot in your forum post:  https://www.jotform.com/answers/

    Here are the step by step guide to change the width of your form fields:

    1. Load your form in editor.

    2. Select/click the form field for which you want to change the width.

    3. Once you select the field, you will see the property toolbar on top of your form editor. Check the screenshot:

    Hope this helps.

    Do get back to us if you have any questions. We are here to help.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for the image Michael, that helped us to better understand your request.

    You are much righ there, it is not possible to change the width of the First and Last Name fields from the Form builder, that can oonly be possible by inserting CSS code to your form.

    So, I think the next form you are talking about: http://www.jotformeu.com/form/32972899365373

    If that is the form, just insert the next CSS code to change the width of the name fields:

    #first_15, #last_15

    {

    width:150px !important;

    }

    With that code the fields will change to this way:

    If you wish to change the width just  edit the value 150px to the desired one. Use the next guide to know how to insert CSS codes to the form: How to inject custom CSS codes

    Please let us know if you still need assistance with this or kindly open a new thread to make unrelated questions.

    Thanks for using Jotform
