Autocomplete widget: Increase character limit

    Hi,

there seems to be a limit on the number of items we can add on the autocoplete's widget item list. Is there a way to add a list of up to 10K items (or more)?

Moreover, when you start to fill the form and the autocomplete dropdown gets shown (see screenshot attached), would it be possible to highlight the item under the cursor?

    Thank you

    Regards,

There is a character limit on this widget which I believe the max character limit is 65,536 (usually the largest value you can enter on fields), yours has 64,716 already. Unfortunately, we do not have any option to increase the limit at this moment.

I have forwarded this to our developers as a feature. I cannot provide an ETA for this, but as soon as it gets implemented in the future, you will be notified here.

Perhaps you may want to consider splitting the items into two separate widgets? Or how about using the Autocompleted Address widget? This widget will auto-complete almost all the addresses and locations in the world when your form users begin typing their address.

Moreover, when you start to fill the form and the autocomplete dropdown gets shown (see screenshot attached), would it be possible to highlight the item under the cursor?

I have moved this to a separate ticket. I will be posting my response to it shortly via this link: https://www.jotform.com/answers/2886715
