    Can a second user upload a file

    Asked by mrsecehr on November 07, 2013 at 02:04 PM

    I have a form that is an application.  The application process requires a letter of recommendation.  Is it possible to have a recommender upload a letter of recommendation to the form or that can be associated with the form without seeing the populated form (i.e. using the edit link provided in the autoresponder email)?

    Hi,

    I'm afraid it will be only possible by using the edit link inside the autoresponder as you mention, the already submitted data will be visivle to the second user when editing the form.

    OR

    You can use 2 forms, one for the applicant  and  other one for the recommender containing only the name  of the applicant  and an upload field, then you should add a pre-populated URL to the second form containing the name and lastname filled by the applicant in the first form.

    Please check this example:

    First Form:

    Fill in this form with your email and check the email received after submitting:

    http://www.jotformpro.com/form/33106074232947

    Follow the "Recomender link" to the second form.

    This is the format if the URL used at the autoresponder of the first form:

    http://www.jotform.co/form/33105993910858?fullName1[first]={fullName:first}&fullName1[last]={fullName:last}

    You can clone both forms in order to make further investigations:

    Hope it helps
