Change Email Recipient Condition: How can we send email based on user's answer?

in an effort to streamline our internal processes we would like to update our contact form so that certain types of questions go to certain email inboxes. Would it be possible to implement a series of checkboxes, requiring the customer to select one, then tie a specific email address to each of the checkboxes to direct the question accordingly.
