Adobe Sign signature field is in the wrong place on my original PDF

    Hi,

When I receive the pdf of the form that has been filled out, the signature is at the bottom of the last page. (Not where the fields are positioned.)

Can someone help me figure out how to fix that?

    Thanks!

Our Adobe Sign widget sends a separate PDF file, and unfortunately, there is no option it can send the original PDF. You'll see, Adobe Sign sends a separate email with a separate PDF file.

The original PDF that gets attached to the email and thank you page will only have a notice that it was signed by the user. For example:

Note that the form needs to be submitted before the Signed By notice will appear.

    I hope that explains it.

For further information, you may look at how to sign a pdf.

    Thanks

No, it does not explain anything. All of the other fields are in the correct place (where I put them), but the Adobe Sign field is in a random location.

Your answer had nothing to do with my question.

Here's a demo Smart PDF Forms with the Adobe Sign widget:

    https://form.jotform.com/201621991693056

I mapped the widget like this:

    1613088475 6025c6dbc3208 Screenshot 10

When you enter your email address in the widget on the preview, the signer flow will open up. However, you could see that the signature is placed like the following:

    1613088546 6025c7222f905 Screenshot 21

That's because the widget is appending the signature at the end of the file.

You will receive the PDF through email, it's sent by Adobe Sign.

When you submit the form, it will send you the original PDF. However, instead of the signature, you will only see the Signed By notice with the email address you enter on the signer flow.

Isn't it showing the Signed By notice on your end? I'll submit your form to figure this out. I'll keep you posted.

    Thanks

    Thank you for waiting.

I've tested your form, and the signature was there on the PDF sent by Adobe Sign.

But again, the same signature format isn't carried over to the original PDF sent to you by the form. It will be tagged as Signed By with the email address.

    Thanks

I don't know how in the world you are getting your signature to show up where it is supposed to (on the PDF sent by Adobe Sign). When I try it, it ALWAYS shows up on page 7.

I have no use for the PDF created by JotForm.

I NEED the PDF created by Adobe Sign to have the signatures in the correct places. The fields are in the correct places (see the screenshot from my original post).

    Please help. Please.

I am sorry for the trouble caused to you. Please note that Adobe sign widget will place the signature in the last page on the window where the user sign. Please check the screenshot below:

    1613111075 60261f230625d sign Screenshot 10

The signed PDF file which is sent in email will also display the signature on the last page as the user signed. Since you want the signature to be displayed in the original PDF document, you go to your form's PDF editor and download the submission in the original PDF which will display the signature in the correct location. Please check the screenshot below:

If you want, you can also send this original PDF to users as attachment in email. The following guide should help you how to send PDF attachment: https://www.jotform.com/help/503-how-to-include-submissions-as-pdf-attachment-in-the-email-notifications

    Hope this helps.
