i have tried the Integration between JotForm and excel via Zapier.
I have tried the help link.
It does not let me choose the Form, nor the destination Form.
I do not use OneDrive. the excel sheet is ready on my external hard drive.
If you send the problem to the back room, a solution will never appear.
Please someone sort this for me!

We apologize for inconvenience.
It does not let me choose the Form, nor the destination Form.
Can you please make sure first that you were already logged in to your account RoSBC at https://www.jotform.com/login
Before using the Zapier integration using the following link
https://zapier.com/apps/jotform/integrations/excel
Usually, the issue of not being able to select the form was due to the app not able to identify the JotForm account. So make sure you were already logged in to the account before the form selection step.
Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Based on the screenshot that you shared, you are on the step where you are still selecting a JotForm account to connect to the integration in Zapier.
After you select a JotForm account, the next step would be is selecting a form under that account as a trigger.
Please give it a try and let us know if you need any further assistance.

I have managed to get a bit further. I do not want to save it to One Drive. I don't use One Drive.
I want to save it to my external hard drive but I am having problems.
Thanks for your help so far.

We apologize for inconvenience. Unfortunately using only the local drive/storage is not allowed.
As far as I know it should be on cloud services only. This was the reason the Zapier setup was not allowing the selection of your local drive. You may try google drive as alternative also.
I hope this help. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Thanks.
I am already using Google sheets and realise I will have to copy paste data to have a copy on my external hard drive.
Also Google sheets is much easier to set up.
Zapier is very complicated, so I will forget about it.
Not worth the effort.
Thanks for your help

Thank you for updating us. I just would like to add that Google Sheets has an option to download the data into an Excel file so you can save it on your computer.
Or, another option that you may want to consider trying is creating an Excel Report of your form submissions.
Reference Guide: How-to-create-an-excel-report
When you create an Excel Report, you will be given a link that will allow you to download an Excel file of your most updated form submissions.
Feel free to let us know if you need any further assistance.

I have created both types of Excel files.
Is there any way of linking either of them to the Form so that new submissions are automatically entered?

Hi there,
You can integrate the form using our Google Sheet integration. When you receive submissions on your form, they will be instantly pushed to the integrated Sheet. Please refer to this guide for more details:

Hi,
Do you mean to connect your Excel file to the Google Sheet?
I'm afraid that you can't link the two directly. You may need to use a third-party application like Zapier to achieve your requirement.
