Can I customize a pop up message in case my form respondent goes to hit the back button on their browser?

Is there a way to put a pop up on the form when someone hits back that basically says "Are you sure, all data input will be lost"

When I hit forward to get back to the form, I had to start over.

    Regards

    Hi there,

    Happy to help!

Currently, we do not have an option for this, but when your users hit "Back" on your forms, the data should not be lost in the field they just filled out. For example:

Are you experiencing an issue in one of your forms where the data they have filled out previously is lost?

Is there a way to NOT lose the data if I accidentally clicked on the back of the browser not the back button. Even if there was no warning.

    Hi again,

    Thank you for confirming!

I understand now that you had meant the back button on the browser instead of the form itself.

By default, if the browser is allowing cookies, then the information will be saved if they go back to the form; however, if they are using an incognito window or do not allow cookies on their browser, the information will not be saved.

I have opened a feature request with our team to allow a customizable pop up window upon exit intent (ie. if their mouse navigates towards the Back button on their browser). I cannot guarantee that this will be implemented; however, when/if our team has an update for you, we will certainly communicate it to you here.

In the meantime, you could add a Paragraph field with a warning notice that if they hit the Back button on their browser, the information will not be saved:
