Can you reject a submission and ask a user to edit and resubmit the form?

Asked by JIVE on November 10, 2013 at 10:25 PM

I would like an approver to receive the form submission via email. In the event the form is not completed correctly or there is missing information, the approver can reject the form which sends the submitter an email with a link to then make amendments and re-submit the form.

    Is this possible?

    Hi there,

We have a workaround for that. Here's a guide: How to Add a Submissions Status

To send the user with an email containing the edit link when you reject the submission, use email conditions.

Before that, you have to create two notifications, 1 for approved and 1 for rejection. How to Setup Email Notification. For the edit notification, you have to include the EDIT Link URL of the form. Here's how:

Then do the following conditions after creating the 2 notifications.

To get the email field variable, here's how:

If you have any questions with any of the steps above, please let us know here. Thanks!
