Asked by qcarcer on November 11, 2013 at 04:02 AM

    Hi,

when I started downloading the excel file all my numeric fields were actual numbers in excel, but it has been for a few days that when I donwload this file the numeric fileds are not numeric in excel anymore.

Has something changed for this to happen? I would really would like to have it in numeric format as otherwise it is very difficult to analyse the information.

Let me take the opportunity to congratule you for the excellent tool you have developed, we are really delighted with it.

    Kind Regards,

    Bernardo

    Hello Bernardo,

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

Are you having this issue when you download an excel report? Do you mean to say that you are unable to add formulas in your excel report as the cell's format in not numeric?

I created a sample form and tested it. Upon downloading the excel report, I found that the format of the cell were not numeric and formatted as text.

Please check my form and excel report here:

Do get back to us if you are having exactly the same problem. Also let us know your form id in question.

Here are the steps for a quick workaround to solve your problem:

    1. Open your excel report.

    2. Select all the cells of one column, click on the error marker and then click on "Convert to number":

    3. Clicking on "Convert to Number" will convert all the cell values/format to numeric and you will be able to use formulas in your excel cells.

Hope this helps. We will wait for your response in order to help you further.

    Thank you!
