Previous submission esults are overwritten in dropbox if new submissions have the same data.

Asked by stephencoverdale on November 11, 2013 at 10:19 AM

    Hi,

when users load form and select the same dropdown option, in dropbox the pdf gets over written, in that folder.

is there a way that every form submission gets its own folder in dropbox, even if the values are the same?

Also when someone loads files, and the files have the same name, the orginial file gets over written, this is a big  problem.

    please help.

    Thanks for contacting us Andy.

I cloned your form and made some tests, but I was not able to replicate the issue. I sent two submissions and chose the same dropdown option (11/2 Cowboy River Run/Walk 5K) in both of them but it correctly created one separated folder per each submission as you can see in th next image:

I also uplodaded to pictures with the same name but the second picture did'nt over-write the first one.

So, please try removing the integration and rebuilding it again:

I hope that helps. Please let us know if the issue still persists or kindly open a new thread to make unrelated questions.

    Thanks for using Jotform
