Form Builder: Required Question Doesn't Appear On Form

We require clients to complete the Feedback / Survey form after each appointment.

They are saying the form won't let them submit because the "How valuable..." question is required but they can't see that question to answer it.

I tested it. It is not to be hidden and options reflect that.

The question is visible on the 'build' version but not on the 'published' version.

Recently I updated the form and duplicated that box and added 'Overall, I find this service...' question.

Please let me know when this is repaired. Thank you.

    Paula

    Hi Paula,

I apologize for the inconvenience. I've checked your form and was able to see the issue. I have cleared your form's cache, but unfortunately, the question still doesn't appear.

I will forward this to our backend team for further investigation and we will get back to you as soon as we have an update.

Meanwhile, I've tested it and when you clone it, the question appears. So if it's urgent, you can clone your form and use that in the meantime.

If I clone the form, it will set me over the 5 form limit for free account.
I only need 5 right now.
And I don't want to lose the data from the previous submissions.

I just did another test. I move the "how valuable' box. Then the box i
switch its place with didn't show up on the published version. So, I
created a box and then hid it and that seems to work. Weird.

That's indeed a weird glitch on your form and glad you manage to find a workaround. I think I've also stumbled a similar case before and cloning was also the solution while waiting for the actual fix from our developers.

You can temporarily archive one of your forms so it will not be counted towards your form limit then you can make a cloned version of your form. Here's my cloned form where I removed the hidden box https://form.jotform.com/210456490298966. Please feel free to clone this form back if you like.

    Thanks!
