Please note that the amount placed within the payment field is the only amount known to the payment processor and will be the only one collected.

If you wish your payment processor to collect an additional surcharge, then the amount field should already include the surcharge and not calculated only afterwards.

Kindly add a Number field in your form where your users will input the amount they wish to pay.

Then use that Number field within your Form Calculation widget.

Lastly, you then need to pass the calculated amount (the one with the surcharge in it) to your payment field.

Yes, your calculation is now correct, however, that calculation is not passed to Stripe and Stripe is the one processing the payment.

Please allow me to copy-paste my previous answer here which tells you the step-by-step guide on what to do in order to properly collect payments with your calculated surcharge.

Kindly add a Number field in your form where your users will input the amount they wish to pay.

Then use that Number field within your Form Calculation widget.

Lastly, you then need to pass the calculated amount (the one with the surcharge in it) to your payment field.

I checked your form and the setup looks good except for the formula on your Form Calculation widget which was multiplying the widget to .0175 instead of the short text field * .0175.

I have instead simplified the formula, so instead of:

Amount you wish to pay + (Amount you wish to pay * .0175)

    I made it to:

Amount you wish to pay * 1.0175

As earlier mentioned, please multiply the amount by 1.0175.

As per checking, the field is only multiplied with .0175.

Kindly review the formula for each of your forms.
