    Getting Empty Email Submission

    morning all,

     

    since somes days i receive some empties request as show by the attached picture.

    Hi,

    This is only possible when your fields are not set as "Required". I see you're editing your form now, did you just set them as required? It is not possible for the user to submit the form leaving the required fields empty. We have 2 require validation scripts, one on the form and one from the server. So there's no way for a user to submit a blank submission unless the fields are not mandatory.

    I have tested your form and I am not able to replicate the problem. Maybe because you've set the fields as required now.

    However, if the user presses enter while on the any page of your form after filling all the required fields it might be possible only on Chrome browser. I think this is how Chrome browser behaves as it ables to bypass both validations. The best way to overcome this is to hide the submit button until conditions are met.

    Here's how to create hide/show condition.

    WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THE FIELD YOU CHOOSE IN YOUR CONDITIONS ARE THE ONE I SHOULD USE OR IT IS JUST FOR EXAMPLE

    You can try with the following condition, so this will have fields from each section of your form:

    If you notice any more issues with empty email submissions, please let us know.

    That was just an example, e.g. if the conditions is for page 2, you have to pick the fields and submit button all on page 2.
