Encrypted form: Unable to download submissions.

    Hello!

We have an encryption key on our forms, and while I'm able to read the encrypted data on my desktop, I'm not able to download the pdf successfully. The data downloads as encrypted, so I'm not able to save the form in a pdf.

If I remove the encryption key, I'm unable to read the already-submitted form.

I'm trying to use the pdf editor, but the page has been "loading" for over 20 minutes now. :\

    Please help?

    Thank you!

    Celeste

    Hi Celeste,

When you are using the encryption option, the submissions cannot be downloaded, as the data stays encrypted.

Also when you disable the encrypting option, it will not decrypt the data. To view the encrypted submissions, you will need to have the encrypting option turned on for the form, and use created key to view the submissions.
Please also refer to our encryption guide here: Encrypted-Forms-and-How-to-Use-Them

If in your workflow you need to download the submissions, I would suggest to not use the encryption setting.
If you have any further questions, please let us know and we are happy to help!
