How to Create a Proforma Invoice or Use Proforma Template in PDF Editor

    Hi,

    I want to create a form that would ask for information from my client necessary to issue a proforma invoice and later on an invoice. There is an option to send an invoice but I would like to be able to send a proforma first. Would that be possible to do?

    Greetings Ewelina,

    Kindly clarify if you want to send the proforma invoice before a form is submitted? Unfortunately, that can not be done. The invoice can only be sent when the form is submitted.

    You can create both the pro forma invoice and the actual invoice in your PDF-editor. Then you can set up multiple autoresponders and based on the user answers send the invoices when the form is initially submitted and later on when it is edited.

    Hi,
    I would like to send a proforma invoice after a form is submitted. I would like to use the answers provided in the form.
    The only option I saw was an invoice pdf but as I understand I can change it in the pdf editor to proforma, yes?
    Also, could I do it on a free Starter plan?

    Hi ewelinawiesiolek,

    You can customize your PDF invoice to create a proforma invoice, and you'll be able to do it on our Free Plan. Kindly follow the steps below:

    1) Enable Invoice under Payment Settings > Invoice,

    2) After enabling the invoice, click on the blue Preview the Invoice button below,

    3) You'll see the automatically created invoice. You can customize it however you'd like to do. Kindly check out the links below for customization:

    4) If you'd like to use different templates, click on the brush icon on the right (Layout Settings), open templates and select one. (You'll see the proforma invoice template below). Using the dropdown above, you'll be able to browse Invoice templates.
