Submission limit using Appointment form field

I have two forms which are connected. The first is an eligibility form and if successfully submitted, links to the next form which is the appointment scheduling. When all of the appointment slots are filled up, is there a process which will disable the eligibility form and post a message saying all slots are filled, check back later?

Currently, I had to add a paragraph in eligibility form stating the needed message, then hid all other fields, including submit button, in form, once I became aware of people sending in the eligibility and then getting blank screen. As you can imagine, each time we have new slots, I have to hide the paragraph and re-enable the hidden fields to make the form active again.

    Hi,

You can disable the form by submission limit only. For example, your appointment form field got ten timeslots, and all of them are taken. It means you have 10 submissions. You can use the Submission Limit feature and set it to 10. You can also add a warning message that all timeslots are now taken.

Here's a guide that you can check: https://www.jotform.com/help/137-how-to-limit-submissions-in-a-form

Unfortunately, there's no option to achieve that using the appointment form field.

    Dear Support,
I saw this feature and the warning message that applies if enabled, which is what I would like. Since I am currently using an eligibility form tied to the appointment form, I assume the best measure to make your response work is to migrate the eligibility portion into the appointment form and use conditioning to meet both needs.
    Does that make sense?

You can add the appointment form field to the main form and add a Single Choice option if they want to use the Appointment form field. If yes, the form field will appear using the Show or Hide condition: https://www.jotform.com/help/316-how-to-show-or-hide-fields-base-on-users-answer

You can also do this on multiple form fields. Here's a guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/196-hide-or-show-multiple-fields-at-once

Please try it and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!
