How can I pre-populate a field within a facebook tabAsked by flowerpower on November 13, 2013 at 05:47 AM
We have successfully pre-populated fields before but on this facebook tab it just does not seem to work.
Thank you for contacting us!
Unfortunately you cannot pre-populate a form embedded on Facebook page using your Facebook Tab URL. However, pre-populating data using your iframe embed code is possible.
<iframe id="JotFormIFrame" onload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)" allowtransparency="true" src="//form.jotformpro.com/form/33162067625957?name=Johnemail@example.com" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:766px; border:none;" scrolling="no"></iframe>
That's all explained on this guide: Prepopulating the fields to your JotForm via URL parameters
Luckily, one of our developer was able to come up an app that would help you populate the forms easily without gathering all the field names. Check this out: http://prepopulate.jotform.io/
