Adding a donation amount option within a Product List Form

    Hi,

Our school is using Jotform (I'm creating our own form) for families to purchase cookie dough as a fundraiser. I am trying to add a "donate" option for families who would like to donate instead of purchasing cookie dough, but can't figure out how to insert that.

In addition, the follow up question is: How can I also add an option for them to type in the dollar amount they would like to donate? Once they do this, is it possible to add that to the "Total" before moving on?

If it is at all possible to send a step by step video of how to do this, or calling and letting me share my screen, I am much better at copying something than reading something and following the instructions (I'm not a techie).

    Thanks,

    Wendy Eckert

Good day, thank you for contacting us. That is not possible through Product List field.

You will need to set up the products through regular fields such as dropdowns:

Then, you could add a Form Calculation widget to get the custom amount, and finally add them up through another Form Calculation widget: https://www.jotform.com/help/259-how-to-perform-form-calculation-using-a-widget

If you need to pass that total to be paid to a payment field such as PayPal or Stripe, please follow this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/275-how-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field

Let us know if you have more questions.
