I found this article https://www.jotform.com/answers/1941190-Save-partially-completed-form-and-send-to-customer-to-continue-filling-out-the-form but am looking for clarification on session parameters. How do I assign a session parameter?

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out.

You do not need to assign the session parameter, it is automatically done by our system. On your end, you only need to enable the Continue Forms Later option in Form Settings to use the Autofill feature.

Maybe this guide will give you a better overview: https://www.jotform.com/help/227-how-to-enable-autofill-on-forms

    Hope this helps.

Do not hesitate to reach out if you need further assistance.

    Hi,

Apologies, I didn't understand it correctly the first time.

To make sure I direct you towards the right resources, the first person would start completing the form, then another person would get a notification, start from where things are left off, and then make the final submission.

    Is that correct?

In this case, we have a way to do that with JotForm. Initially, only a few fields will be shown to the first person who will fill-up the form. When that person submits the form, it will conditionally send an email to the next person. The email will have an edit link to the submission submitted by the first person. The form can be set up so that when it is accessed from an edit link it will show conditionally hidden fields. This means that the fields that were hidden to the first person who initially submitted the form will now be shown to the next person. That person can now continue filling up the form.

Detailed instructions on how you can set up your form to meet your requirements can be found in this guide — A-General-Approach-on-Building-an-Approval-Process-Workflow

I would suggest that you check the guide first and if you have any further questions or you need clarifications, please do not hesitate to ask us anytime and we will be glad to help you

Yes, that is correct, one person partially fills the form, the second
    person completes it.
I will check out this guide, thank you.
Would the edit cause this to be 2 submissions? Or is it still considered 1?

    Hi there,

    Happy to help!

This will still count as one submission; however, each field will be separated into separate columns in your Jotform Tables view.

Please let us know if we can assist further.
