Hi I made a questionnaire/maturity scan in Jotform. These are 30+ questions Everything works fine, but to create a report I need to categorise / group questions.
For example, 5 questions are about standardization. So what I need to return in the report is a simple average of these 5 questions.
Can you explain how to group or link questions or how to do it afterward in the report builder?
If not possible I need to switch to another tool, for this particular questionnaire, otherwise, I need to process everything by hand ;-)
Best regards Glenn Polman

I assume you are referring to this form, https://www.jotform.com/build/210522699849367, which has a couple of Scale Rating fields.
If you need to get the average per category or any type of calculation, kindly add a Form Calculation widget per category.

Hi a other question do I need to change the scale then? so for example a.b.c.d. and then assign calculation values in the option field?
Because at this moment I use the standard rating scale in the form builder. it use a 1 to 5 scale. So if I use the widget and try to calculate an average it just returns the outcome of the questions. So in the example I answered 3 questions with a 3, 4 and a 5 . The widget don't return an average, but just the sums op 345 as a result.

I did check your form, and it seems the formula you have added is not correct. You also have added the field in text mode. Please check the screenshot below on how to use form calculation widget to calculate with avg() function:
Hope this helps.
Do get back to us if you have any questions.
