Send submissions to .shtml fileAsked by electricwildflower on November 15, 2013 at 06:46 AM
Quick question for you i run a bands directory and have used the form as a band submission this means they send me details and i get them through email then add them to a .shtml template i have ready then upload to my website. Is there any possible way i could have the submissions enter straight into a .shtml template in the right sections of the template then email me the template.
This would make it easier for me and i wouldnt have to keep entering the submision details manually ?
Thanks for contacting us.
So, what you need is to post the result of your form into your .shtml file and at the same time receive your form results in your email inbox, is that correct?
If so, you may find useful our app Submission View that will provide you a code that you need to embed to your .shtml file to automatically show your submissions listed. At the same time you will receive the notification of the submissions in your email.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if you need further assistance with this or kindly open a new thread to post unrelated inquiries.
Thanks for using Jotform
Yes that is correct as it would save me from having to manually enter it everytime. I will check it out and get back to you.
Great! Please do test it and let us know if that fits your need or if you need further assistance with this.
Thanks for using Jotform.
