Can I merge submissions of two identical forms into one table?

Asked by madmax1930 on June 07, 2011 at 01:29 PM

I stopped using a specific form and started using an identical one (submissions tables are identical).

Is there a way for me to import the data from the old form into the new submissions table so as to have all the info consolidated for reporting purposes?

    Thanks,

    FC

    Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no way to do that yet with Jotform. As far as I know, it has already been added to our feature request list but I'm not sure of its status yet. I believe it might be one of the most sensitive feature to implement because of its nature, being that precious data will be involved. We would not want complications to arise from releasing a feature that is half-baked. I hope you understand what I mean.

In the meantime, the safest workaround is to consolidate all the submissions databases into a single excel file on your local hard drive.

We will announce any updates regarding the import submissions database feature request. Feel free to check the Jotform Blog or this support forum for any news.
