Why is my condition not working properly?

I am creating a scholarship application form. It is designed so that, of the many scholarships we offer, only those the applicant qualifies for (based on thier answers to questions in the application) appear for consideration. I used conditional statements to create this functionality. However, the conditions aren't working as expected for one of the scholarships and I can't figure out why.

The scholarship Theisen's Home*Farm*Auto Two-year School 4-H Scholarship is only supposed to be visible if the applicant indicates they are considering attending an Iowa two-year college. However, I find that it is visible regardless if the applicant chooses:

    Iowa State University

    University of Iowa

    University of Northern Iowa

    Central College in Pella

A different Iowa four-year college or university

The only selections the applicant can make for that question and not result in this scholarship showing are:

    An Iowa trade school

An out-of-state two-year or four-year college or university

I cannot figure out why this is happening. I have tried changing the priority of the conditions, I have tried deleting the scholarship, recreating it, and recreating the conditions for it.

I'd appreciate any assistance you can offer in trouble shooting this issue.

    Thank you,

    Holly

    Hi,

I have checked the form's http://form.jotformpro.com/form/33103763489963 condition and currently, it is not the same to what you have shown in your screenshot.

This is the condition I see on the form for scholarship Theisen's Home*Farm*Auto Two-year School 4-H Scholarship question

You may want to review and redo the condtions according to your preference. It will be easier to jump to that particular condition by clicking on the green condition icon of the field (in my screenshot I have encircled this icon).

Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks

I think you are looking at the wrong scholarship. There are two scholarships with similar names.

    Theisen's Home*Farm*Auto Two-year School 4-H Scholarship

    Theisen's Home*Farm*Auto Four-year School 4-H Scholarship

Each of them have three conditions associated with them. Two of those conditions are identical for the two scholarships

They both should only appear if the applicant indicates they reside in one of the qualifying counties.

They both should only appear if the applicant indicates they are choosing an Ag related major area of study.

However, the two scholarships differ in that if the applicant indicates they will attend an Iowa two year college, the Theisen's Home*Farm*Auto Two-year School 4-H Scholarship should appear, but not the other.

If the applicant idecates they will attend any of the Iowa four year colleges/universities, then Theisen's Home*Farm*Auto four-year School 4-H Scholarship should appear, but not the other.

In your screen capture, it looks like you are looking at the conditions for the Theisen's Home*Farm*Auto Four-year School 4-H Scholarship, not the Theisen's Home*Farm*Auto Two-year School 4-H Scholarship.

    Thanks,

    Holly

    Hi,

I'm afraid that this issue is related with a conflicting condition at your "I am seriously considering attending the following educational institution(s):" form field, please delete the condition shown at the picture

check this example http://www.jotformpro.com/form/33215102060939 in order to see if it is working fine.

    Hope it helps

please let us know if you need further assistance
