The widget settings allow for front or rear camera selection - when filling out form the camera is always rear facing

Is there a way to fix this

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I've tested the Take Photo widget using my form below and I couldn't replicate the issue.

When choosing Rear/Front form the widget settings, it gets applied. Also, users can switch the camera as shown below.

If the issue still persists, please hide the the current widget, and add a new one to your form.

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Thanks
I tried your form and it worked
I tried deleting the original and adding new one with the same result
I’ve created the form on a desktop and tried modifying on iPhone and iPad.
    Same result every time
    Very strange

    Hi again,

Below is a cloned version of your form.

    https://form.jotform.com/210547519930962

The default setting for the camera is "Front" as set in the widget.

Can you please try this form? Also, I highly recommend using a different browser/device this time.

If this form works, you may try to clone it following the guide below.

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Ok thanks
This appears to work on Chrome Safari and Firefox
The problem appears to be when I use the app ?
I was hoping to use this in the app on Kiosk mode
    I appreciate this info

Hi Rick, can you please tell us what device you are using? Is this an iPhone or Android?

If the issue persists, please try reinstalling the app and see if it fixes the issue.

You can also try using the File Upload fiel, you can also take pictures there.
