Question on form submission limit

    Hello,

When logged into my account, I received a message displaying:

You're almost out of monthly submission limit.

My administrator informed me the subscription was upgraded today to a Gold license. Or at least, my administrator (the one who created my user) has been upgraded to a Gold license.

Doesn't this automatically mean that my license will be upgraded too? Or is licensing per-user, not per organization?

How long does it take for this to reflect? I have 16 form submissions left and I'm concerned the subscription update has not gone through.

Additional note, since I was not aware of this limitation/licensing system, I transferred ownership of 2 of my forms, hoping this remove the submission limit on the forms. Unfortunately I will not know until I receive confirmation from a support member, or when my submission limit is reached.

Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Greetings,

Regarding "Doesn't this automatically mean that my license will be upgraded too? Or is licensing per-user, not per organization?"

It is per-user. I checked that your JotForm account is on Starter (Free) Plan and almost reaches it submission limit.

Currently, your storage is at 88 MB of 100 MB total available space for account on Starter (Free) plan

JotForm has multiple subscription options, including a free plan. Free users have access to all of the same features as paid users, but with lower limits on form counts, form submissions, form views, upload space and submission storage. To check out the different options, visit our Pricing page.

Sorry but this doesn't really answer my question.

I work for a corporation that owns a Gold license version of Jotform. They created the actual Jotform account for me. I thought I would have inherited the Gold subscription plan.

As it turns out, I have been on a Starter license all along. Nobody was aware.

I was wondering if you could answer this question, please:

I created 2 forms which absolutely need to continue working, and with the submission limit almost reached I might have a huge problem. The forms were previously stored in my personal folder (I only have one folder in my account).

I moved the 2 forms to a "Shared folder", which my administrator (a user with a Gold plan) has access to and manages. With that, I transferred the ownership of the form.

Could you please tell me by what I've done I've created a workaround to avoid the submission limit on those 2 forms? Sorry, I cannot disclose the names of the forms on this forum, since they include a "proprietary name".

    Greetings,

I'm not quite sure I understand your question.

I noticed that your account has "SHARED WITH ME" folder.

Kindly confirm is it a Gold plan or Enterprise plan your administrator JotForm account is?

Regarding "With that, I transferred the ownership of the form."

Kindly confirm those 2 forms that were belong to you have been moved/transferred to your administrator JotForm account with the help from JotForm support?

We will wait for you reply.

    Thank you. Regards.

Hello - I'll try to clarify.

    1. My Administrator (= the person who created a JotForm account for me) is using a Gold plan (as previously mentioned).

2.Since it was my Administrator who created me, I thought I automatically "inherited the Gold plan subscription as well"
This doesn't seem to be the case?

3.A few months ago, I created 2 order forms. These forms were created under my account, and were stored in "MY FORMS", up until yesterday.
Yesterday, I moved the 2 forms in question over to a folder located in my "SHARED WITH ME" folder.
When I did this (yes, I did this myself), a popup notification came up telling me"by moving these 2 forms to the "SHARED WITH ME" folder, I transfer the ownership which cannot be reversed.

The "SHARED WITH ME" folder was shared out to me by my Administrator.

    4. The idea behind why I moved the 2 forms into the "SHARED WITH ME" folder, was to get around the submission limitation that I have in my free "Starter" account.

    My questions remaining are:

    A) Point number 4: Did I actually bypass the submission limitation by moving my 2 forms to the "SHARED WITH ME" folder and transferring the ownership of the forms?
    B) What do we (my organization, my administrator) need to do in order to remove the limiations of my free account?

    Hello,

Thank you for the clarification to your previous questions.

If you already transferred your ownership of your forms, then usage limitation of those forms that were transferred will be counted under your JotForm account which is subscribed to Gold Plan. Your account's limitations will not hinder the use of your forms.

To answer your second question, the subscription of your JotForm plan will be applied to one JotForm account. Since your corporate account is a Gold Plan, you don't need to change your subscription status as all of usage will be calculated in your corporate account. So, if you'd like to create a new form, or view submission data, please login to your JotForm account with a paid subscription.

We instead offer ways to collaborate with your team members. Under your corporate account, If your administrator assigned team members to each form and JotForm Table, you will be able to collaborate creating a form, or viewing and editing your submissions in JotForm Table with your JotForm starter account. For more information on how to collaborate with members, please kindly visit the following links.
