Do you have a narrative form available?Asked by caitlinmoy on November 17, 2013 at 09:45 PM
I would like to create a narrative form. I looked at your templates and was not able to find one, but wanted to check with you before giving up. Do you have one available? If not, do you anticipate having one soon?
Thanks so much!
Good day! We do have a narrative web form builder app, but it is currently under development. You can check it through this link: http://apps.jotform.com/app/narrative_web_form_builder.
What I could suggest is to create the form and label every field with your question and do the result (narration) in the Form Notification and Autoresponder Emails. Example Settings:
You can see the above example by testing this form: http://www.jotformpro.com/form/33211291096953. Submit a test using your personal and valid email address.
Thanks for the link to the app, I would love to use it but cannot save any forms created with it (likely because it is under development). If I am logged in to JotForm and I try to save a form in the Narrative Web Form Builder app, after clicking the "save" button nothing happens whatsoever. It appears as if the save button is not clickable. If I am not logged in, when I click save, it triggers a pop-up that asks for my log in information. After entering the information, I am rejected from saving due to "incorrect username or password". Using the same username and password, I am then able to log in on the JotForm main page with no problems. At that point, if I return to the app, I am not able to save because the "save" button is non-responsive.
Unfortunetely the second option will not work for my purposes.
As advised, the app is still under development. Unfortunately, the second option is the only way I could offer for you to accomplish the same function. There are ongoing updates, but I'm not sure if one of those includes this app. Please stay tune for more updates.
