JotForm Appointment Field : having two-way data-flow with Google Calendar integration

I understand that the Google Calendar integration happens after the form is submitted but for my purposes, that is too late.

I need to use an appointment widget that integrates with Google Calendar in real-time. When the customer is selecting their service date, the appointment widget needs to already be aligned in real-time with my google calendar or else there will be some horrific scheduling mishaps if I take the customer's payment and THEN the availability is only checked after the form is submitted.

For example, I currently use Paperform and have been testing out Jotform because I really want to transition over. Paperform has an appointment question type that integrates with your Google Calendar right there on the spot. So, if a day already has my max number of bookings on my Google Calendar, then the day is greyed out/disabled on the appointment widget preventing the customer from choosing that day. The customer can then either choose another available day or resign the fact that we are not available for them on the day of their choice.

This feature is a non-negotiable for me. Is there anyway possible that this can be done?

The more I think about it, the more urgent this feature becomes for me.

I know you guys aren't Paperform and I know they are your competitor but they have mastered this real-time calendar integration because it just makes sense to do so. Try out their product (which Im sure yall do) and test out the Appointment widget, they call it an Appointment Question Type. I can add 5 different Google calendars which allows me to book 5 deliveries that day. Or how ever many I set. I've even checked comments on Jotform YouTube and people have asked yall this same question over a year ago and so far no responses.

I want to transition over to Jotform because all these separate expenses of the form integrating with airtables integrating with a pdf maker is just insane when Jotform has all these features and much more in ONE SOLUTION.

Another thing to consider, if your day is booked with max number of appts or you have no more availability on that day to take appointments but then you delete one of the appointments from your Google Calendar for whatever reason (because Google Calendar is a handy app that everyone has quick access to on their smart phone and dont have to log into Jotform to access an appointment widget and risk making an editing mistake on the form...), thereby freeing up time and opening up a new slot on that day, the Jotform appointment widget does not get this information in real time to even be able to offer the newly created availability to the next customers who try to book that date. If the appointment widget doesn't integrate with Google Calendar in real time, it'll be a scheduling disaster and I wouldn't see the point.

Aside from that, multiple people can access my Google calendar and make updates for me as needed. And, these people I would never risk having them go into my production Jotform to update an appointment widget under any circumstances. If the appointment widget does not integrate with Google Calendar, I am put in the position of being the only person on my team who can make these updates. Again, defeating the purpose.

Please I need a Jotform solution for this like ASAP.

    Hi geiacarter,

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, there's no two-way data-flow within the integrations in JotForm. The data submitted through JotForm will be sent to an integration only.

I have escalated your request to our developers. However, I can’t give you an ETA on it, as it depends on their workload. You will be informed via this thread if they have any updates.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

Ok thank you. So far, Paperform has the market cornered with live calendar
integrations. Of all the forms I’ve tested, Paperform does it. But they are
so lacking in other design functionalities, which is where Jotform shines.
I wish I could have the best of both worlds.
