Limiting the Number of Respondents and Preventing Duplicate Responses

You can easily limit the number of respondents in your form.
Please follow these steps.

1. While logged-in to your JotForm account, select the form you'd like to work on and click on "Edit Form"


2. Once you're in your form, click on "Settings"


3. In the Form Settings, you'll see Form Status. Click on "Enable" and select "Disable on submission limit" and enter your limit.


To avoid the same respondents to fill your form please follow these steps.

1. Click on the "Show More Options" on the settings page.



2. Find "Unique Submissions" under "Show More Options"


3. Choose the type you'd like to use for your form submissions. You may check this article for further information.

Also, you can select the "Unique Question" to prevent a respondent to use the previously submitted information.
It's "Email" by default but you can make unique adjustments by checking this article.
