The approver doesnt match with the previous one

    Hello,


    We have created a fairly simple approval flow. Emails are being sent to the approver, but we are getting an error "The approver doesnt match with the previous one"

    I did a bit of googling but am unable to find why this form is producing this error.

    I did check your form's approval workflow, and it shows a warning message. Were you making any changes in the workflow when this submission was received?

    I would suggest you to please "Restart Flow" from the inbox page and see if that solves your problem. Please check the screenshot below:

    Hey there,

    I made changes prior to the errors and after the errors but now when I complete a new entry it still errors out.

    Please let me know if I'm missing something or if there is something wrong with the form. I'm thinking it's on the backend?

    Hi there,

    I have cloned the form and set up the approval process workflow, and I could not replicate the issue. The approval process workflow seems to be working fine on my end.

    Have you restarted the workflow? If not, please click on the "Restart Flow" from the inbox page and see if that can help.

    I have also cleared your form cache as a precaution.

    I have no screenshots but I tried the similar method too and faced this error about approver does not match this notification is showing on the screen as you can see here. I tried the solution that you are trying to give him here but its not working

    Is it still displaying the error message? I did check your form's workflow and also the inbox page, and it does not display the error anymore.

    I would suggest you to please check your form again and get back to us if the issue persists.
