Dropdown options with "<" and ">" in them

    I have the following question:

    When I run the form, no dropdown menu items appear. I am guessing the "<" are being interpreted specially. How can I "escape" these characters so that they will appear in the dropdown menu?

    &lt: for less than sign

    &gt; for greater than sign
