Missing a required selection on my formAsked by MrPixelPuppy on November 19, 2013 at 10:47 PM
I have created a form where users get to chose a size that they want a file enlarged to, they must choose from one of three sizes and then pay for their prints along with a required shipping charge. The problem i have is that i had a customer submit a job without choosing a file size. They only choose the shipping option but i need to require the form for them to choose at least one size and i dont know how to do this.
This behavior is happening because you already have a pruduct marked as default on your payment tool, in this case the product is "Shipping", you have 2 possible workarounds in order to make the form works as expected:
1. Use only 2 products(Shipping and the poster with size and quantity option)
check this example, based on this guide:
Basically I grouped the 3 different products in one option(Poster) where you can choose the quantity and size(price will vary depending on selections).
2. Set the shipping product requiered option off, so the user will be prompted to make a selection on the payment field.
Hope it helps
