Hello, I just created a form and I add and encryption on it.. I received a four submission files and when I went in to look at them it requested my jot key file#.. I tried to retrieve the file that I saved but when I try to open it up, nothing happens.. Do you know what application can read the jot key file? I have since changed the parameters on my form and took off the encryption code but I still can't read my first four submissions I received.. please help. thanks,Kathy Staley

It's possible that you have disabled and enabled the encryption and when asked to use an existing key or not, you may have selected to generate a new key. If that happens, the new key won't be able to decrypt the old encryption. If you have lost the old key, there's no other way to decrypt it as Jotform doesn't keep this private key in Jotform server.

I suggest that you keep your encryption disabled so all succeeding submissions won't be encrypted.
