Display Values different to Submit valuesAsked by ocrmlabs on November 20, 2013 at 06:09 AM
I need to be able to display a drop down selection of user real names but have the submitted values to be the user number or short name - so as an example;
Drop down list would show;
With the data submitted as;
Is this possible with JT ??
Many thanks in advance.
It is not possible to do that on regular forms. What you can do is to copy the form full source code to your website and edit the code there. If you change the values of the dropdown field to the values you want to receive it will work exactly how you want it.
Here is how you can get the full source code. Open your form on the Form Builder:
1. Open "Setup & Embed" tab on toolbar,
2. Click on "Embed Form"
3. Click on "Source" and copy the HTML code provided to your web site.
On the source code find the questions and then find the "option" tags. Then, just change the "values" for them.
Give it a try and if you have any questions let me know.
