    The auto responder email has wrong content.

    I have a customer emailing me saying that after filling our our regstration form, he received a repsonse email stating the following. We do not offer cruises, and this has no affiliaiton with us or our products. He is very concerned that he may have somehow been scammed. I have not received his form either, so I am also concerned that there could be some hacking going on. Please see the email he received below. Please advise

    Hello elilan,

    I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

    Upon checking all your forms in your account, I found that the auto responder email template of your form "TLDBC MELBOURNE - NOVEMEBER 22nd - 24th" has the above mentioned content. That is the reason your customer has received this message:

    It seems that you must have cloned/imported this form and changed the form content but not updated the auto responder email template. 

    Please be noted that when you edit your form's notification, it becomes dirty. That means after editing the notification alert, any fields/question you add in your form will not be added automatically in your notification and needs to be added manually. That is the reason when you updated your form fields, it did not update the auto responder.

    The easiest way to solve this kind of problem is to delete the existinf autoresponder / notification and add it again and then change the email content.

    You can also manually update the email content. Here is how you cna do it:

    1. Load you form in editor.

    2. Click on "Setup & Embed" and then click on "Email Alert" on the form toolbar:

    3. Then click on the "Auto Responder 1".

    4. In the compose email window, you can change the text of your email template:
