Can the ID number of one form be transferred to a copied form

I have 2 forms (call them form A and B). I want to delete form A and use its ID number for form B. How can I do it?

Which ID number are you referring to?

Is it the form ID that appears on the form URL?

If yes, it cannot be done since each form has a unique form ID.
