I had someone submit my form 5 or 6 times. They all bogged up in the "incomplete payments" and I wasn't notified that any of them were in there. Can we get a notification when an incomplete payment happens. Furthermore, I accepted one of the submissions and deleted all the others, but the payment did not process. I am truly baffled with regard to this part of the payment process. Can you explain this to me in some very basic terms.

    1) What am I supposed to do if I don't know it's there

    2) What do I do when there are more than one from the same person

    3) Why don't they process normally

    4) Is there anything else I should do with my form to avoid this situation from happening in the future. This is not the first time.

We would like to recommend checking the following article:

    Form Incomplete Payments

Incomplete payment usually means that someone decided to not pay upon submitting the payment form. We do not send email alerts for incomplete submissions by default, but if you complete such submission manually it will process the emails. However, customer will not be charged even if you complete such submission manually.

    1) What am I supposed to do if I don't know it's there

You can enable a Pending Payment E-mail option through PayPal field properties.

    2) What do I do when there are more than one from the same person

    3) Why don't they process normally

It is most probably that the person did not want to pay or was not able to pay for some reason. You can ignore incomplete submissions.

    4) Is there anything else I should do with my form to avoid this situation from happening in the future. This is not the first time.

If this is happening for unpaid submissions it is completely fine. However, if this is happening to paid submissions, we can try to adjust the PayPal account settings.

Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance on this.
