    Is there a way to make the jotform thats inserted onto my site, resize when the browser is re-sized?

    Asked by theemeadelis on November 27, 2013 at 01:26 PM

    I have one of your Jotforms embedded on my website, contained within a <div>, as such:

    HTML

                <div id="form">
                    <script type="text/javascript" src="//form.jotform.co/jsform/32966004870860"></script>
                </div>

    CSS

              #form

              {

               width:80%;

               height:80%;

               position:absolute;

              }

    The div element itself is set with re-sizeable width & height, so that it shrinks and grows when the browser its viewed on changes size. However the Jotform embedded within the <div> does not re-size with it. Is there a way of making the form shrink & grow, depending on browser width?

    Kind Regards

    Hi Sam,

    In order to understand your exact challenge, please share the url of the website where the form is embedded.

    However, in order to achieve a responsive form (one that changes with the changing browser size), you will need to go to the form editor in your Jotform account and insert the following styling:

      .form-all {

                 width:80%;

                height:80%;

           position:absolute;
          }

    This will at least make your form res-ize with changing browser width and height.

    But, it would still help to understand exactly how you would like it to look, since all the form elements will resize with this styling, and may not look like what you desired.

    Hope this helps
