Request: Create a CSV file for a single submission

    I've seen a few requests for this, but was asked to open a new one.

    I'd like to be able to generate a CSV file for single submissions. It's currently possible to create a PDF file, but not a CSV.

    Further, but not completely necessary, it would be great if that could be attached/linked to from the email notification for that submission.

    Are you importing these CSV files to another software or service? Exactly why do you need CSV files with a single submission? 

    We will consider your suggestion. We might be able to implement it as a JotForm App. But for now, one possible solution might be to just create it by hand on your email. 

    Just add fields like this to the end of your email body:

    "{name}","{email}","{field3}"

    Then, if you are important these to another software, copy and paste it from the email. 

    It might work.

    Yes, it's for import into Lotus Notes.

    The particular implementation I'm planning for is for a client, so I feel the CSV would be much easier for them.

    Thanks for providing more details. Which form are you trying to integrate this feature? If this is only for a single form, we'll see if we can create a workaround for you. If this will be used in general or the entire forms, I'll submit this as an addition on the apps we have.

    Would be great if it could be an app, but would definitely appreciate a workaround.

    Hello there,

    My colleague Elton has already made a request ticket for this feature earlier. We can not give you a proper time frame yet as our developers have other priorities but they will have the say if this will considered.

    For the meantime, I am finding a solution for a workaround earlier but it is not completed yet. I am having problem parsing the submission data to CSV especially when it comes to Matrix table, Payment, Address, Grading fields..

    Here is a demo form. Be sure to put your email address so that you can receive an autoresponder email which will contain the CSV link that you can download but as I mentioned before it still has problems. Most of them is about formatting and matching the columns.

    I would like to have this same feature as well so that each time a submission is emailed, the CSV is attached or a link to the single submission csv.

    There is no available new update about this request feature at the moment from our developers, but they will respond here when they do.
