Decimal Numbers are rejected during calculation

Asked by corpiq on November 28, 2013 at 11:18 AM

This should be quite simple but is not working. I am trying to calculate the total on a form and the calculation seems to drop my decimals.

Price + qty = Subtotal (this is correctly calculated)

    Subtotal * 0.05 = tax1 (this is correctly calculated)

    Subtotal * 0.0975 = tax2 (this is correctly calculated)

Subtotal + tax1 + tax2 = Total (this is wrong it drops the decimals in the taxes and adds the whole thing)

Let me forward this thread to our developers so they can further check and advice. It seems that you are right that the calculation rejected the decimals.

    Thanks for reporting.
