Hi Support Team,
Ive created a form on Jotformpro (link below), which I would like to utilise as a splash screen/page(whatever the correct terminology is) for my Facebook Fan page.
I need the form to simply pop-up automatically, before facebook users click 'like' on my fb fan page.

Do you mean auto-pop up the form on your FB page? If yes, you can use this workaround: How to Auto-popup a Lightbox Form.
If that doesn't work, try to save it as html file and upload it to your server then embed it as iframe since FB requires iframe embed and probably script embed codes will be stripped off.
<iframe src="http://www.yourwebsite.com/popupform.html" style="width:100%;height:500px;" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" scrolling="auto"></iframe>
Here's a guide on how to embed a form to facebook: Adding Form to Facebook
If you have further questions about this, let us know. Thanks!

Hi mate, Yes thats what I want. to auto-pop the form on my fb page.
Im new to all this and Im a little confused about how to actually embed the lightbox code or html code, into facebook?
Basically need this to work on my fb fan page without the requirement of using a server
- JotForm SupportjonathanAnswered on December 03, 2013 at 05:49 AM
You will need to have a hosted html page to be able to accomplish your requirement.
Unfortunately, you will NOT be able to directly embed the Pop-up Lightbox form into your FB page using its stand-alone codes. Because of the security strictness of Facebook, the Lighbox form will not work properly when embedded using the script code.
As our colleague EltonCris had already mentioned, you will need to create your own html page where you can embed the auto pop-up Lightbox form. And then later on embed that html page in your Facebook page.
Just to be clear, here are the suggested steps that should be taken
1. Have a hosted html page (it can be your server, or other host that will allow you to embed scripts)
2. Embed the auto pop-up Lightbox form (created using this method How-to-Auto-popup-a-Lightbox-Form) in the hosted html page.
3. Embed the html page into the FB page within an iframe code (Adding-Form-to-Facebook)
Hope this help. Inform us if there is more we can assist you with.

Hi mate, thanks for ur prompt response. Please just guide me through 3 more questions, regarding your steps above, if you dont mind?
Step 1. Have a hosted html page (it can be your server, or other host that will allow you to embed scripts)
Q1. Can you recommend a free html page hosting website, which allows me to embed scripts?
any of these work: http://www.prchecker.info/web-hosting/top-10-free-web-hosting-sites/
Step 2: Embed the auto pop-up Lightbox form (created using this method How-to-Auto-popup-a-Lightbox-Form) in the hosted html page.
Q2. Can I use the lightbox script (below with ammendments) and if so, what html codes do I add to the hosted hmtl page? (so that the html file executes properly and opens my jotform page as soon as someone goes to https://www.facebook.com/JessicaWatersNovels
windowTitle:'FREE COPY OF JESSICA WATERS LATEST EBOOK',
<a class="lightbox-33226595686971" style="cursor:pointer;color:blue;text-decoration:underline;">FREE COPY OF JESSICA WATERS LATEST EBOOK</a>
Ref for above ammendments to code:
How Can I Configure a Lighbox Form to Automatically Close Upon Submission? https://www.jotform.com/answers/196280-How-Can-I-Configure-a-Lighbox-Form-to-Automatically-Close-Upon-Submission
Step 3. Embed the html page into the FB page within an iframe code
Q3. Would this link have the iframe code, i require to embed the hmtl page into the fb page? Or do I need another app attached to my facebook fan page to embed my html page?
Thanks again for all your help guys.

I may be wrong, but I do not think that you can load a pop-up when someone visit your Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/JessicaWatersNovels.
However, it should be possible to load the pop-up within the App.
Do you want want to autoload the lightbox within your 'Welcome' tab? If yes, we can help with this.

Yes please Mike_T.
Can you please advise me on, how to autoload the lightbox within my 'Welcome' tab?
- JotForm SupportMike_TAnswered on December 04, 2013 at 06:53 AM
1. You will need to get your secure form LightBox code:
2. Add the Auto-popup line to the code. Example:
windowTitle:'Message Contact Form',
<a class="lightbox-33365572618965" style="cursor:pointer;color:blue;text-decoration:underline;">Message Contact Form</a>
3. And then, add that code to your Static iFrame Tab:
If something is not clear, please let me know. Thank you.

Thanks Mike_T. That worked fine mate. cheers. Really appreciate all your help and also the help I got from the other contributors, from your support team. Jotforms gets an A+ from me.
Alas my final Question is..... Bascially are there any other methods/options(facebook development methods, html page hosting options), even & including outside of jotforms. Which i could use to implement a splash screen/page, that can load a pop-up, when someone visits my Facebook fan page?
Quite similar to the way you helped me setup and display the 'welcome' tab, but to instead load on top of my facebook page direct url.
Even if you or anyone else could direct me to another site for assitance, id be extremely greatful. It would be great to have this project completed, exactly as i promised it would turn out.

Thanks again for all yours and everyones help so far. :)

Hi Alex, On behalf of my colleagues whom were helping you with this you are very welcome and we greatly appreciate your comments about our platform and service. As far as I know it's slightly difficult to say due to the fact that FB changes their platform builds so rapidly especially with mobile versions.
I'm not entirely sure that it's going to work in a different a way to load this to overlap when visiting your page other then the current solution my colleagues have already provided. We'll look into it more to see if there is something more that can be done and we will get back to you about this.

Thanks for yours, plus everyones help and extra effort at Jotform's.
If u guys can come up with a solution for me. I'm more than happy to back ur product with ad placement or wateva u guys want? For example, ads integrated into my jotforms and embedded across many platforms.
Facebook being one of the largest social networks and possibly most popular for my genre specific requirements, would benefit many Jotforms members greatly. Especially those who require a solution for splash pages and other concepts, with re-integration solutions, for facebook update changes.

Thanks and you're most welcome.
Regarding on your last question, I don't think facebook has any an onload event that fires up a script when an FB page is loaded, haven't seen that so far except when you load a tab on an FB page. Sorry but I have no clue or any reference I could provide to you about that specific function.
