I'm trying to download my submissions as an Excel file and it is not working as of this morning (Dec 2, 2013).

When I try to open the file in Excel, it tells me "The file format and extension of 'xxxx.xls' don't match. The file could be corrupted or unsafe. Unless you trust its source, don't open it. Do you want to open anyway?"

If I open anyway, it is garbled data.

I tried this in both IE 11 and Chrome, same result.

Same problem here. All sheets from all forms are messed up with symbols and errors. Hope there's a quick solution.

    Many thanks in advance

I am getting the same issue here as well. I am using Office 2010 on Windows 7.

In the meantime, you can access an Excel of your submissions using the Reports area of JotForm.
