Integrating a form with Google drive

Hi there. I asked a question about multiple edits creating multiple folders in google drive. This was your response (from Vanessa_T):

Just to clarify, did you make 4 edits for the same submission or you made 4 submissions for the same form?

The integration is actually set up in a way that it is grouped per submission since some submissions have uploaded files, in this case, all uploaded files are properly grouped together in one folder.

As a workaround, you may name the submission folder with a static name, so all submissions will have the same folder name, unfortunately though, with this setup, all the PDFs will also have the same file names.

So, it was 4 edits for the same submission. If I read this response correctly, that means it should put all the edits in the same folder, but it isn't. You can see here, that the edit I made to the same submission created two folders in my google drive.

Any way around this so that any edits of the same submission go into the same folder? I do not want to name the submission folder with a static name - that won't work for me.

    Thanks so much!

    Brad

You can only sent the root folder where the submission would go, but unfortunately, it will create its own folder each submission or submission edit.

    Folder structure would be:

    Root > Submissions #1

    Root > Submission #2

That would include the edited form that was re-submitted. Also, like what my colleague suggested, creating a static folder would combine the submission in one folder but that would create multiple PDFs with same name.

    Hi there,

It's been a while, but I just filled out the form again today, but it didn't send the form to my google drive folder. Is there a reason for this? Do I have to wait a while for it to upload?

I know it is integrated because I did it last year and it worked. Then I went to it again today and it said it was already integrated.

    Thanks,

    Brad

    Hello bheidbuurt,

Thank you for reaching out to Jotform support!

I cloned your form and noticed the Google Drive integration was not set up. Check out this quick and easy page on how to integrate a form with Google Drive.

    Hi there,

I am pretty sure it is already set up. I did this about a year ago and it was sending forms to my google drive.

When I follow the instructions you give me, this is the screen I get.

I assume this means it is ready to go?

    Thanks,

    Brad

    Hello Brad,

Yes, that screen indicates that Google Drive is now integrated into your form. Please do a test submission and check if the form data will reflect on your Google Drive folder.

If it's still not there, let us know.

    Regards,
