I would like to ask recipients of my survey requests to complete surveys. Most will find it intrusive to be required to sign up for an account that they do not want.

    Hello,

Form respondents does not need to create an account to fill in the form if the forms are not assigned or private. JotForm offers our users many different ways to share their forms.

    • Assign Forms — You can share forms with specific people. (For example when assigning a form through a link, you can ensure that your employees are the only ones who can fill it out by restricting access to only your company’s email domain. )
    • Private Forms — Only invited people would be able to access form.
    • Public Forms — Anyone with the form link would be able to access the form.

You might have set your survey as Private so it is asking recipient to log in to their JotForm account or create account. You can switch it back to Public so your users can fill your survey directly without logging in. Here's how:

    1. From Form Builder, click on Publish, then click on the Settings or Private Form button.
