Smart PDF forms + Mobile devices: 'Preview PDF' button downloads the PDF instead of previewing it

    Hi. We've been unable to view these forms on a Samsung and Iphone phones.

    Nothing happens on an iphone it just goes to "loading PDF" then goes back to the form.

    On an Android phone, it says "unable to open this link" then goes to blank. See screenshots via this link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/zjKU7QDhY4Nu6N7Y7

    Preview works fine on a desktop computer.

    Hello! The forms are working completely fine at our end. I checked on iPhone 12 Pro Max + Chrome and Galaxy S21 + Chrome setups (screenshots attached for your reference below).

    The problem could be with your device. Can you please try a different device to test this?

    Hello. The form is fine. it's when you PREVIEW THE PDF. Sorry for not being explicit. You can not PREVIEW THE FORM when you click PREVIEW PDF down the bottom.

    Hello! Our apologies for the inconvenience. I now see the issue; the Preview PDF functionality does not work as intended in mobiles browsers. I am able to replicate this on my phone as well.

    On my phone, the PDF gets downloaded instead (in a new tab) when I try to preview it; this could be due mobile device limitations but I've still reported this to the Backend team so that they can check.

    We'll update you under this thread once this issue gets resolved.
