Appointment Field: Manipulate the appointment slot without restriction

I need to be able to manipulate the appointment dates without restriction due to cancelations and filling spots

if someone cancelled an appointment, you can simply delete the submission to free up that slot.

well sometimes we are unable to change to the timeslot we need to without going in and editing the limits on the form builder. for example all the shots were booked for today and 1 person doesn't show up so we cancel their appointment but get someone else to fill there spot but it is too late in the day to schedule that person for the today. Not only trying to use guys as an appointment maker but to accurately keep track of when the 2nd doses are due.

Unfortunately, that's not yet possible with the Appointment Field but I'll escalate that as a feature request. For now, you may consider my colleague's suggestion by deleting the submission in order to free up the appointment slot. Or you can keep your current workaround by increasing the limit manually in the form builder so you can pick the time slot again.

By the way, I'd like to clarify that deleted submissions can still be viewed in Trashed Entries if in case you'd still want to view the canceled appointments. Will this help?
