Jotform Tables: How can I duplicate a record?

    We have some instances where we want to create dummy records. Sometimes we need to create a lot of them. Is there anyway to quickly duplicate a record or to upload records?

    Unfortunately, it's not possible to duplicate submission, but you can import them from an Excel or CSV file, this guide will help you to do so: https://www.jotform.com/help/308-import-app-easily-import-your-excel-or-csv-data-into-jotform

    I went trough the Import option and used the exact example presented to test the upload.
    It always says 0 submissions created.
    Also, I don't see our schedule as a field to update.

    Seems like the issue is related to the fact that your account is HIPAA-compliant and the import app is not compatible with HIPAA accounts, as an alternative, you may follow these steps: https://www.jotform.com/help/1001-how-to-import-data-in-jotform-tables

    Well, that tells me how to import data into a new table, but how do I get that imported data from my new table into my Submissions table?
    I'm going to assume you're going to tell me it can't be done. If I'm wrong, great! Please let me know.
    However, if I'm right, can we get the developers to add a feature to duplicate a record in the Submissions table?
    Better yet, can a schedule be setup where one day i.e. Thursday has a lunch break, but another day i.e. Friday does not?

    Yes, unfortunately, the import data feature on the Jotform Table page will only work for new tables, it's not possible to import data to an existing feature at the moment.

    I'm escalating this to our back-end team for further inspection, we will keep you updated via this ticket.
