Hiya,
We used auto-response on some of our forms however the auto-response usually ends up directly in the submitter's sam box.
What steps can we take to reduce this?

Hi,
You can try changing the sender Email to your own SMTP server to prevent this issue.
1. Go to Settings > Emails > Autoresponder.
2. Next, click on Advance on scroll down. In Sender Email choose "Add new email address".
3. Select SMTP email and enter your SMTP details.
