PayPal Business integration: "Bad request" error upon payment.

    Hi there,

    I have PayPal Business connected to my form, and it gives two buttons 1) pay with PayPal or 2) debit or credit. When customers go to fill out their credit card information directly, they are met with the error message "bad request, payment-paypal-create order, value of a field is either too short or too long"

    Do I need to upgrade to PayPal Pro or PayPal Checkout?

    Hi,

    Is your PayPal account a PayPal business account?
    A conflict in the PayPal account type could have something to do with this.

    Otherwise, I would suggest disconnecting and entering your PayPal credentials again to reconnect to the integration.

    Please try reconnecting and test the form. Let us know how it goes, and if you still encounter the same issue, inform us and we will investigate the issue further.

    Hi Laura, I was responding to your email but I don’t think my responses actually made it onto this thread!

    I was able to reconnect PayPal business (confirmed that I do have a business account) and successfully send myself $1. My customer was still getting the same message, so I’m not sure what the deal is there. Will you confirm for me that both my forms (invoice and order form) work in terms of entering credit card info?

    Happy to help!

    I made a clone of your form 210837011182142 and tested the form in Test Mode with test credit card credentials and was unable to replicate the issue.

    If this does continue, would your customer be able to provide:

    1) A screenshot of the error message

    2) A screenshot of their browser console log report. Here's how-to-get-a-console-report-from-most-common-browsers
