How to change 'Please Select' text in the dropdown list choices?

Hi dear team,

I'm testing JotForm.

Looks like "Please select" text can't be modifed.

I get this "Please select" in english, even if this is displayed in french in the editor.

Thank you for contacting JotForm Support.

Please note that if you want to insert different text into the empty value of the Dropdown field, you can use the "Show Text In Empty Options" setting to enter custom text for the "empty option"

Here is a screen shot of this on your form and I wrote "testing"

To access this setting you can click on the "gear: icon on the dropdown field > Click the "Options" tab > Scroll down and Toggle the setting to "ON"

Can this be due to fact that my jotform is in french ?

As we check your JotForm, it is already displaying with the changed text.
